BENEFITS OF HOLDING CASKS

The Golden Rules

steady growth.png

SUSTAINED GROWTH

Whisky has been a mainstay in the food and drink industry for centuries, and is perpetually becoming more popular. Typical annual returns range from up to 12%+

The market is currently worth £6 billion, and is set to double by 2030.

Irish Whiskey is now the fastest-growing premium spirit in the world. Scotch accounts for 20% of the UK's f&b exports and 70% of Scotland's f&b exports.

Did you know that Whisky was exempt from prohibition in 1920's America?

TAX-FREE

Before Whisky is bottled, the casks have a shelf life of roughly up to 40 years. Under law, any gains earned from holding casks cannot be taxed.

This makes the market an incredibly attractive way of keeping your capital CGT-free.

TANGIBLE

Unlike stocks and shares, Whisky casks are physical, tangible assets. Making it very similar to Property and Gold. You are welcome to visit your casks stored in the Distillery or Warehouse and draw a taste if you so wish.

INSURED

Casks are insured to market value, so you are fully covered in the unlikely event of any damage to your casks as they sit maturing

in bond.

BONDED

Casks are stored and insured under Government-controlled regulations in a Government-Bonded Warehouse or Distillery.

GENERATIONAL WEALTH

Many of our clients use cask collection for storing capital in a tax-free environment as a means of inheritance for children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren.

SAVINGS

We also supply cask whisky to clients looking to bottle down and sell their whisky under their own brand, or to supply their own pub, restaurant or bar. Working to economies of scale and saving them a potential fortune in the long run.

AND THAT'S NOT ALL...

The above benefits are not an exhaustive list - to hear more about why wealthy investors are diversifying into cask spirits like never before - book in a complimentary call and guide with one of our experts here.
